Know More Roots

No, it's not just paraphrasing from a shirt referencing a video game console, it's also what I am nearly evangelistic about. Many people who work in media know what I mean. Those who had to edit video in analog before they could use digital software (and still have Super VHS tapes around), people who were forced to use Photoshop 5.5 in a day when Adobe and Macromedia joining forces was a pipe dream. And for me, when building websites meant you sat in front of a screen using a text editor because that's all that was available. Despite many changes in design and development, we still need this ability as standards change.

Coming Back to Old Times with New Skills

B Studios is just a not-so-flat (contrasting the geography of Houston) prairie where I have still managed to keep my old practices and apply them in a constantly-changing world. I am, for all intents and purposes, and old school web developer who has the added benefit of still being young enough to know of Pong and the AMC Gremlin rather than remembering them.
